Wolves, the League One team, have given a trial to Jack McBean, LA Galaxy's striker. The 18 year old footballer came to Molineux after ending the season with Los Angeles Galaxy at the Major League Soccer where he scored 7 goals during the season.

Wolves manager Kenny Jackett told that Jack is here training for a few days. They would see how he fits in and whether he is one to look at in the future. Major League Soccer is a good league. If they have a look at some of youngsters there that might help them.

WOLVES MISS DOYLE

Wolves are unlikely to have star striker Kevin Doyle for the match against Sheffield United during the weekend. The Republic of Ireland international missed the match against Shrewsbury recently, and it appears that he has not returned to full fitness yet in time for this match.

Despite the lack of Doyle, manager Kenny Jackett says that he is confident of being able to manage the striking options in the team. He has said that the club already has four strikers at the disposal, but he is targeting one more striker in order to strengthen the squad.

SUCCESSFUL START

Wolves have enjoyed a very good pre-season for the first time in two years after the arrival of Kenny Jackett as the replacement for Dean Saunders. The club has suffered two consecutive relegations, which is threatening to destroy the club itself.

They will be having huge financial problems if they do not manage to sell their top players like Karl Henry and Jamie O'Hara. They were some of the first names on the transfer list after the arrival of Jackett. Many expected the club to suffer even more without the experience and quality of such players.

NO MONEY

In order to arrest the turmoil from the fans, the manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Dean Saunders has said that he elected not to spend any money during the January transfer window despite having the cash.

Wolves were expected to challenge for a promotion spot in the Championship this season, but they are just two places above the relegation zone after a bad run of form. The poor run of form led to the sacking of the manager Stale Solbakken. The club appointed Saunders as his replacement, but results are yet to improve.

SAUNDERS JOINS WOLVES

The Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers have decided to appoint Dean Saunders to replace the former manager Stale Solbakken, who was sacked during the weekend after the FA Cup exit at the hands of Luton town. The results have been extremely poor since the 34-year-old Norwegian arrived at the club.

POOR DEFENDING

Tags:

The Wolves manager Stale Solbakken has heavily criticised by defending of the team in the recent match against Nottingham forest. Wolves were defeated in the match 2-1, which lifted them without a win in the last eight matches.

This poor run of form has seen them slowly slip down the table. Getting promotion into the Premier league was one of the main objectives of the team after they were relegated in the summer, but avoiding relegation is the main priority right now. The defending of the team was at its worst in the 2-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest.

PALACE BEAT WOLVES

Crystal Palace has defeated the Wolverhampton Wanderers in a Championship match played at the Molineux Stadium on Tuesday. Crystal won the match by a close margin of 2-1. This was the third defeat for the Wolves in the ongoing Npower Championship.

After losing this match, the Wolves have now moved down to no. 3 in the points table. They have won five out of the nine matches that they have played in the tournament so far. They have been defeated in three matches, while, two of their matches have finished without any result. They currently have 16 points.

NOW IS THE TIME
