When you play against the side who have decimated the Premier League Champions 6-1, you could be forgiven for hoping for anything less than a drubbing.

Considering Wolves came through the game against Manchester City with a 3-1 loss, there might be much to be happy about, but the sad matter of fact is that they left the Etihad Stadium without any points.

"We played well. We had to defend in the first-half and Wayne Hennessey made a couple of magnificent saves.

"You can imagine how he feels. He is as good as any goalkeeper in this league and it is such a shame it has cost us.

"I'm disappointed we haven't got anything and we let them off the hook. It was set up for us to get something."
