WOLVES SHOW INTEREST IN UNITED WINGER

Manchester United winger Daniel James is currently being scouted by several clubs both in England and abroad and there could be a bid for the Wales international winger this summer, as per multiple reports. The young attacker was signed from Swansea by United manager Olé Gunnar Solskjær some months ago but after having a brilliant start to life at Old Trafford, his form dropped afterward. His drop in form saw him lose his starting spot at the club and has since been struggling to nail a starting berth since then.

The 22-year-old has not been largely involved this season and has mostly been used as a substitute in the Europa League this current campaign and there are reports that he could be leaving Old Trafford either on loan or a permanent transfer.

His lack of game time has been a major issue of concern for him as he continues to hope not to miss out on the Wales EURO 2020-21 squad. A few weeks ago, it was reported that Leeds United were interested in signing him and that he is the kind of player that would fit perfectly into Marcelo Bielsa’s style of play at Elland Road, but nothing concrete has emerged from those rumors since then.

Perlatest reports, he is now wanted by Wolverhampton Wanderers who could be submitting a bid for him when the summer transfer window opens for business. Wolves manager Nuno Espirito loves to have pacy attackers in his team and already hasAdama Traore bossing the right flank for his side. He could now have two speedsters as winger’s both on the right and left flanks should he convince United to sell their star this summer.

Manchester United are expected to be reluctant to sell James this summer, especially since they’ve not gotten Jadon Sancho yet from Borussia Dortmund.

UNITED INQUIRE ABOUT WOLVES STAR TRANSFER

Premier League giants Manchester United have expressed their desire at the prospect of signing Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Ruben Neves, according to reports coming from various sources. United’s interest in Neves is no longer news as the Red Devils have long been linked with a move for the superstar forward since the start of last season. The Old Trafford club approached Wolves last summer about a possible move for one of their prized assets, but they hinted he was not for sale.

After losing out on the possibility of signing him last summer, they may now return for him in the coming transfer window and could finally get their man, with reports suggesting that Wolves could now be interested in allowing him to leave this time around.

Manchester United’s failure to sign Neves last season saw them opt for a move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder BRUNO Fernandes instead , and everyone would currently agree that the move was the next best available option. The Daily Mail claims that one of the reasons for the reluctance Wolves expressed towards not letting Neves leave the club was because they had already sanctioned the sale of Diogo Nota to Liverpool and they were not ready to lose another star in the same window.

With United also expected to return for Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho in the summer, it’s unlikely that a move for Neves will be placed as a priority. The essence of chasing the Wolves’ star could be so that in case a move for Sancho does not happen, then they could have a second option.

Olé Gunnar Solksjær is expected to be handed a transfer war chest this summer and he will be looking to secure the signings of his major transfer targets ahead of next season so he can compete for major trophies.

HOW WOLVES WILL SURVIVE PREMIER LEAGUE RELEGATION

Wolverhampton Wanderers are not in immediate danger of suffering relegation from the English top flight this term but they still have to look over their shoulders especially with their questionable form in the past few games. As things stand, Wolves are nine points better than Fulham in the final relegation spot on the league standings having played a game more than the Cottagers. Wolverhampton Wanderers are on 35 points after 29 games in the league this term, while Fulham are on 26 points after 30 games in the league this season. Wolverhampton Wanderers were impressive on their return to the Premier League two seasons ago as they comfortably finished in the first half of the table at the end of that Premier League campaign. In their second season back in the top flight last term, Wolverhampton Wanderers finished in seventh position at the end of the season. The midlands club has not been able to replicate the form of the last two seasons in this Premier League campaign. Nuno Espirito Santo took Wolves from the English Championship to the Premier League and he has been the Wolverhampton Wanderers manager for the duration of the last three seasons in the English top flight. He has seen his team lose quality due to the departure of both Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota to Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool respectively last summer. Wolves have also not been without star striker Raul Jimenez who’s recuperating from the serious head injury sustained in the league win at the home of Arsenal in December.

Wolves are without a win in their last four games in the league ahead of the home match with West Ham United when league football resumes next month. To ensure they are safe from relegation, Wolverhampton Wanderers need at least five more wins as things stand on the log.

Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers have identified Morgan Sanson as a key target and want to sign the midfielder this January or in the summer, depending on when his club will be willing to let him go. The player currently plays for French Ligue 1 side Olympique Marseille and is one of the French club’s best players but may be seeking a move away from the club.

His manager, Andre Villas-Boas recently admitted that the club may have to be forced to sell the player after he has already drawn interest from a lot of Premier League-based clubs. The Daily Mail claim that Sanson is a key transfer target for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, West Ham United, and Aston Villa as all the clubs are looking to bolster their midfield options.

WOLVES SKIPPER DOUBTFUL FOR SAINTS CLASH

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Conor Coady faces race against time to be fit for the game against Southampton on Monday night. The defender is a doubt for the Premier League match with the Saints after he was forced to leave the England team due to Covid-19 protocols.

Coady, 27, came in contact with someone who tested positive for Coronavirus and that led to his withdrawal from the last England squad earlier this month. The situation forced him to miss the three England games during the international break. He was absent as the Three Lions beat the Republic of Ireland 3-0 at home in a friendly match courtesy the goals from Harry Maguire, Jadon Sancho and Dominic Calvert-Lewin who scored his second goal for his country from the penalty spot.
The Wolves skipper also missed the UEFA Nations League games against Belgium and Iceland. England were beaten 2-0 by hosts Belgium through goals from YouriTielemans and Napoli attacker Dries Mertens. The Three Lions then thrashed Iceland 4-0 at home in their final game of the November international break via a late brace from Phil Foden plus other goals from Declan Rice and Mason Mount.

Wolves See Potential in a New Recruit

There have been several players who have been signed on by the Wolves for the new season in 2020. The initial excitement had been around Patrick Cutrone, an international striker from Italy and Jesus Vallejo, a defender from Real Madrid. Both came in with lots of potential but were unable to extend their stint. Pedro Neto was able to survive as well as thrive. He was also able to make a bigger impact than what people anticipate when he first arrived at Lazio in the summer of last year.

Neto also agrees that, when he joined, not many people knew of his potential and what he could achieve. He was able to prove to the fans as well as the audience that he was capable of achieving much. Neto is also one of the younger players in the team. There are two others who are younger than him, Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood, who were also able to outscore in comparison to what Neto achieved in the Premier League season this year.

WOLVES TO POACH GUEYE

Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers are planning to lure Idrissa Gueye with a return to
England. The former Everton man has been quite decent for French giants Paris St-Germain. However,
with Tottenham pushing to have Ruben Neves, Wolves want Gueye to be the replacement.

Coach Jose Mourinho is rebuilding the Spurs team and he has identified the Portuguese as an asset to his
plans. Wolves are relentless in their pursuit to be a regular top four/five side in the English topflight. They
are currently battling it out with Manchester United and Chelsea for a chance to finish at least five, hoping
if the City ban is upheld, they can play in the Champions League next term.

ATLETICO MADRID STILL WANT LACAZETTE

Atledtico Madri have not given up hope on signing Arsenal striker Alexandra Lacazette. The Rojiblancos made their interest in the Frenchman known during the January transfer window but no official move was made. Atletico needed a striker in January, since Diego Costa has been hit with a series of fitness issues. The former Chelsea striker has endured an injury hit season.

The club also made an approach for PSG’s Edinson Cavani. The Uruguay international has 6 months left in his contract in January and will be available for free at the end of the season. Atletico could not agree terms with Cavani’s representatives.

Spanish giants Real Madrid, continuing with their tradition of forever being nosy of other people’s jewels are reported helicoptering around Wolverhampton Wanderers best kept secret Owen Otasowie.

The 18-year-old until now has only featured in the EFL but last week against Besiktas, the manager decided to hand him the opportunity.
The youngster unfortunately for Wolves only has 6 months left on his contract and given the amount of attention he has already attracted to himself, keeping tabs on him over what decision he wants to make next is now suddenly more complicated than Wolves could have anticipated.

When many clubs are monitoring your best kept secret having Real Madrid as part of the secret admirers usually spells doom. The Spanish side has never went in for a player and got rejected.
