Wolves owner Steve Morgan has backed boss Mick McCarthy to succeed once again next season. Wolves host Blackburn at Molineux on Sunday knowing a win would be enough to keep them in the Premier League.

"You never give the dreaded vote of confidence but Mick has been here for five years and I don't believe you get any progress at all by chopping and changing," said Morgan.

"Chopping and changing happens at other clubs and what good has it done them?"

Wolves looked like they were struggling to survive after a 3-0 defeat at Stoke in April, but a draw at Birmingham followed by wins against West Brom and Sunderland have boosted their hopes.
