Wolves manager Paul Lambert has stated that Wolves will be an improved team next season.

This was a disappointing season for the club which was acquired by Chinese company Fosun. Indeed there were high hopes for the team, and they started the campaign as one of the favorite team for promotion to the Premier League.

Unfortunately, things did not go as plan in the starting stage of the season, and at times they were closer to the relegation places than to the top of the league. It is only at the beginning of this year that the team managed to find some sort of form to allow them to climb the table and escape relegation.

Paul Lambert said that the team will be much better next season and that they have no option than to sign new players. He stated that the owners are ambitious and that they will be looking for promotion next season. The manager said that it is evident that the club needs some new blood and that he will be overseeing the transfer activities during the transfer window.

He believes that there are some good potential in the squad at the moment, but he feels that they lack quality in some department. He said that he will be addressing those issues as soon as the season is over and that he will be working with the owners to make sure that they have a squad that can mount a serious push for promotion next season.

Paul Lambert said that he is an ambitious manager and that he will make everything he can in order to help Wolves challenge for promotion next season. He said that this is an exciting time for Wolves fans and that they should get behind the team.
